Visit details

The Anyangcheon cherry blossom path runs a long way along the Anyangcheon embankment from Yeongdeungpo-gu to Gwangmyeong and is Seoul’s longest cherry blossom route. In spring it is one of Seoul’s best-known places to stroll at an easy pace among the large cherry trees planted along the embankment road and enjoy the blossoms.

Apartment buildings line the embankment, and nearby residents use the path year-round for exercise and walks. In spring it fills with people viewing the cherry blossoms, using the flower beds, ecological parks, sports facilities, and rest areas along the stream, and riding bicycles. Along the embankment and stream, seasonal theme gardens that combine ecological conservation with an ecological waterway—such as a rose garden and a grass garden—and photo zones have been created to give visitors more to see and do.
