KT&G Sangsangmadang is a complex cultural space that opened in September 2007 on Hongdae Festival Street. Before the building opened, an online platform already supported photography, comics, literature, and short film. The Hongdae site added music, art, design, and performance. Facilities include a cinema, performance hall, design square, gallery, academy, photo darkroom, and cafe, offering creation support for artists and cultural programs for the public.
