Korea’s first national science museum dedicated to children opened in December 2017 with the goal of nurturing creative, interdisciplinary talent to lead future society. It features three science playgrounds—Sensory Playground, Imagination Playground, and Creation Playground—where scientific principles underpin play and learning at once, plus a planetarium, an observatory, and a 4D theater to enjoy with all five senses, among other up-to-date exhibition spaces.

It also plans and runs a range of tailored programs, including science creation classrooms where children can learn with their parents and science culture festivals in collaboration with the local community.
