N Seoul Tower (Namsan Seoul Tower) was built as Korea’s first comprehensive broadcasting tower, combining efficient transmission and reception of broadcast signals with a tourist observatory that highlights traditional Korean beauty, for the future of broadcasting culture and the tourism industry. Just as famous towers around the world have become symbols of their countries or cities, N Seoul Tower has, for more than 40 years, served as a leading tourist destination of Korea and a symbol of Seoul.

With a height visible from everywhere in the city and a distinctive structure and form, it has become an object of civic affection and has firmly established itself as the foremost tourist attraction for both domestic and international visitors. In recent years, as it has gained fame as a filming location for variety shows and dramas that have fueled the Korean Wave, visitors from Korea and abroad continue to flock here.
