Seokpajeong is a representative late-Joseon villa garden, known for traditional architecture in harmony with nature and a beautiful garden. It was originally a villa of the Andong Kim clan; Heungseon Daewongun, a late-Joseon statesman, bought it and named it Seokpajeong after his own name, Seokpa (石坡).
