Yeongdeungpo Cultural Center, which opened on August 7, 1999, discovers and preserves the local cultural resources of the Yeongdeungpo area and works to preserve and pass on the district’s distinctive culture. Alongside cultural events, it runs a culture school as a place of lifelong learning, with 108 courses and 75 instructors. By offering a variety of programs that meet residents’ desire for culture and enrich their emotional lives, it works to establish local culture and lifelong education.
