Visit details

Cheonggyecheon is a 10.84-kilometer stream that runs between Jongno-gu and Jung-gu. From July 2003 to September 2005, a major project restored a 5.84-kilometer stretch around the covered Cheonggyecheon-ro and Samil-ro, installing 22 bridges in all, to transform the area into a rest space for citizens. Cultural events and other programs are held around Cheonggye Plaza, and the stream serves as a place of rest in the city where anyone can stop and relax.
