Visit details

Dongdaemun History & Culture Park occupies the former Dongdaemun Stadium site in Jung-gu. When the stadium was removed in 2008, Igansumun and a bastion of the Seoul City Wall, Hadogam and Hullyeondogam remains, 44 building sites, and about 1,000 artifacts including Joseon porcelain were found and are shown in the park. A stadium memorial at the entrance displays sports history and a model of the old grounds. Exit 1 of Dongdaemun History & Culture Park Station (Lines 2, 4, 5) is 26 m away. DDP and Sindang-dong Tteokbokki Town are about a 10-minute walk.
