Visit details

Gyeonggyojang, a historic site, was a workplace of the Korean Provisional Government after liberation and the place where Kim Gu died. Seoul restored it as an exhibition and opened it on 2 March 2013. After 1949 the building was used as an embassy and hospital; surviving original parts were kept, and others were restored from drawings in Joseon and Architecture (August 1938). It is a branch of Seoul Museum of History, with objects, video, and kiosks on the Provisional Government. (Source: Seoul Museum of History website.)
