The National Intangible Heritage Training Center was built in 1997 by the Cultural Heritage Administration and is run by the center. Holders of national intangible heritage teach and perform there. Eight performing-arts groups and twelve craft workshops are housed on site. Facilities include Folk Theater Pungnyu, exhibition rooms Gyeol and Ol, a seminar room, practice rooms, and craft studios.
