Visit details

Children’s Grand Park opened on 5 May 1973, Children’s Day. The 56,552 m² green space serves children, youth, and adults, with educational facilities, a zoo and botanical garden, and rides. After a 5 May 2009 reopening it added Sea Animal Hall to view polar bears and seals underwater, a large parrot aviary, and a musical fountain. Neungdong Forest Stage seats 8,000 outdoors; the old octagon holds a Korean cartoon-character exhibition and a children’s traffic-safety hall.
