Cheonggyecheon is a 10.84 km stream between Jongno-gu and Jung-gu. From July 2003 to September 2005 a 5.84 km covered stretch along Cheonggyecheon-ro and Samil-ro was restored and 22 bridges built. Cultural events are held around Cheonggye Plaza.
