COEX Aquarium has 183 display tanks, 90 holding tanks, and 3,500 tons of water. Sixteen themed zones under “a fantastic water journey” show about 650 species and 40,000 animals, including Korea’s largest variety and number of sharks. About 20 rest spots and open-top tanks are provided. More than one million visitors a year are cited.
