Gwangnaru Safety Experience Center, next to the main gate of Seoul Children’s Grand Park, is Korea’s first disaster experience center, where ordinary citizens receive safety education by going through simulated situations such as fire, earthquake, and typhoon. It was established as the need grew for a simulated disaster facility that could help the general public build the ability to respond to disasters and raise safety awareness.

Visitors take part in the various experience facilities with explanations from staff such as firefighters. Advance online reservation is required. Long pants and socks must be worn; shorts, skirts, and bare feet are not allowed.
