Korea University Main Hall was begun in 1933 and finished in 1934 for Boseong College, which Kim Seong-su managed; Park Dong-jin designed it. It is three stories (central tower six) in symmetrical Gothic granite, H-plan, with a wide central hall. Tiger statues on the entrance columns stand for the school; mugunghwa is carved on the rear columns. At the time it was considered unmatched among Korean school buildings.
